It is very important to the VAG to fully clarify this incident without reservation. This was spoken to with the relevant ticket inspector.
In addition, the video recording media was backed up from the affected vehicle.
After the involved ticket inspector in business attire and his colleagues entered a vehicle at the “Rathaus im Stühlinger” stop, he noticed that a passenger had got up and tried to get off the train quickly. The ticket inspector asked the passenger to show his ticket, which the passenger refused to do. Instead, the ticket inspector was insulted several times. The passenger came very close to the inspector, spat on him and said he had Corona. The inspector was threatened by the passenger with a pointed object and also injured on the arm. Finally, as seen on the clip, the inspector tried to protect himself by pushing the passenger away twice and to keep the passenger at a distance.
Another inspector had in the meantime informed the police, who received the passenger at the “Stadttheater” stop.
The affected ticket inspector suffered a slight injury to the upper arm and has filed a complaint against the passenger for physical injury.
