Free summer concerts will take place in Majori on Friday evenings / Article / LSM.lv

Free summer concerts will take place in Horna Garden on Friday evenings in Jūrmala, Majori. In turn, Jurmala exhibition halls offer various art exhibitions, including exhibitions in the urban environment, the media informed the Jurmala City Council.

Actress Raimonds Vazdika together with singer Ieva Akurater and musician Ilze Grunt will sing their new music album in the summer concert series in Horna Garden on July 10 with the program “Letters in Handwriting in Fine”. The trio was formed by jointly playing and playing Vazdika’s musical performances “Vārnu Street Romance”, “They Danced 100 Summers” and the Russian Song Evening “Three Sisters and the Irresistible Harms”.

On July 17, the melodies of the summer mood will be performed by Adriana Kukuvasas (voice), Ēriks Upenieks (guitar) and Normunds Puriņš (piano).

On July 24, poet and singer Elīna Līce and friends – Ēriks Loks and Uldis Ozols will visit Horna Garden. The concert program will feature well-known compositions, author music and folk songs.

July 31 pop electro folk The music concert will be given by the saxophonist duo “He and She” / “Elle et Lui” – Ilze Lejiņa and Fred Hormain (France). Several saxophones, guitar and violin, kokle and electronics, stabules and voice together will form a modern and unusual concert program.

Summer concerts in the Horn Garden will continue in August.

Meanwhile, several exhibitions can be seen in Jūrmala exhibition halls and urban environment this summer. Jurmala City Museum offers three different exhibitions – Interim exhibitions of German artist Sabine Shellhorn’s installations “By the Sea” and the International Maritime Biennale “Marina” – paintings by Madara Neiken and pastels by Jan Shandibin. The exhibitions are open until August 9.

The art station “Dubulti” has an exhibition “Gints Gabrāns. Grand opening of the final”. The artist’s works, created with the help of artificial intelligence, will be on display in the premises of the art station, in the urban environment of Jūrmala and also in the virtual environment until September 13.

From July 20 to September 14, the Latvian nature-inspired sculpture exhibition “Art Beach. Star Gate ”- sculptural objects created by Roberts Diners, Andris Loss, Kristaps Strauts and Artūrs Bērziņš.
