Fraud: The statement of the friend himself that he framed the soldier who accompanied his friend to make a fake story of ‘Chappa Kuthal’ which has huge consequences. The conspiracy broke down when the soldier, who complained to the police that he had been beaten up and had a stick with the word ‘PFI’ on his back, questioned Joshi, a friend of Shinekumar, a resident of Chanapara, Kadikkal. Finally, Shinekumar and his friend Joshi were caught. Joshi was openly saying that he made the story of Chappa Patikal on Shine’s instructions.
The complaint was that while he was going to pay his friend, some people attacked him on a deserted road between Chanaparak and Mukkadak, tore his clothes and stabbed him with something on his back. The complaint also stated that when he called his friend, he realized that it was written as PFI.
Shine was admitted to Kadakkal Taluk Hospital and then to Paripally Medical College, but there was no sign of beating. As there were inconsistencies in the complaint, the police conducted a detailed investigation.
The police who inspected the scene did not find any sign of beating.
Shine was questioned again but he remained firm in his complaint. Then the friend took Joshi into custody and interrogated him.

The screenplay that beats the story of the movie was broken in the loopholed investigation of the police in Kadakkal. From the time he was admitted to the Kadaikal taluk hospital at midnight on Sunday, till he was arrested, the soldier, Shine Kumar, who filed the false complaint, stood by his statement. The ‘scenario’, which was formed after months of conspiracy, broke when the co-accused revealed the truth during the interrogation.
On his way back from his friend’s house after attending the Onam celebration, when he reached a rubber plantation near Mukada Chanapara road, two men stopped him saying that his friend was lying unconscious due to alcohol. When he went to look, one of them kicked him from behind. His hands and mouth were tied with packing tape and his T-shirt was torn. The name of PFI was written on the back with green paint. The six-member gang left after the attack’- this was the complaint of Shine Kumar.
The news created quite a stir. Apart from national media reports, there were social media posts of many celebrities about it. Military Intelligence and I.B. had conducted an investigation into the incident.
