The Hungarian national team player has finally chosen Millwall.

Finally, in August 2018, the contract offered by Barnsley meant a way out of the third division, and at the same time a ticket to the English second division. Although the team was relegated from the second division last season, the player remained in the league and was loaned to Millwall at the start of the summer transfer window after several weeks of uncertainty. A clause has also been included in the contract: the player will be able to change teams next summer for a fixed amount.

I already had offers in January, I could have left Barnsley, but I didn’t want to disappoint the team, I wanted to fight with my teammates to avoid relegation. This is all, this is my character. Unfortunately, the goal was not reached and the club understood that the time had come for a change and knew how important it was for me to continue to count on me in the Hungarian national team. The summer weeks were filled with uncertainty, there were several interested parties, several offers, but no agreement was reached for various reasons. Ferencváros? We stayed in touch throughout the summer, the association handled the matter professionally, but in the end no agreement was reached. Finally, at the start of the transfer window, a loan deal with Millwall meant I could play football for a very strong league team, get a taste of London life and get more exposure – and that, together with Barnsley, I could have benefited from. As for the future, my biggest dream is to play in the Premier League one day. In time I would like to try my hand abroad, either in one of the top leagues, or in a club that appears regularly in BL or EL.
