NEW YORK — Police were investigating a shooting Wednesday afternoon in a Brooklyn neighborhood after four people suffered various injuries, law enforcement sources told NBC 4 New York.
At around 3:30 p.m. shots were fired in Bed-Stuy, near the area of Marcus Garvey Boulevard and Park Avenue. At least one of the injured people was in critical condition, the sources said.
The circumstances surrounding the gun violence, including who pulled the trigger and whether any suspects were in custody, were not immediately known.
The investigation is ongoing.
