A 44-year-old man from Bornem assaulted his niece at least a hundred times between the ages of 6 and 12. This happened every time the girl came to stay with the man. He also raped her once. Only when the child was twelve did she grab her courage and write a note to her mother. The guy initially stated to the police that it was his niece who had seduced him. In court he turned in and admitted that he had made a serious mistake.
