Forty patients with covid are hospitalized in Cadiz

The latest data provided by the Ministry of Health on the current state of the coronavirus returns the number of 41 hospitalized with covid in Cadiz hospitals. The province would be the second in Andalusia with the highest number of patients in health centers, although none of them are in intensive care units.

Salud Responde answers questions about vaccines

The Salud Responde service participated from 3 October to 22 December 2022 a total of 761,148 consultations for vaccination appointments, which were carried out both through the 955 545 060 line and from the Salud Responde mobile application.

In recent months, 264,364 vaccination appointments have been made through Salud Responde and the Salud Responde application was the channel most used by Andalusians, recording 68 percent of the appointments assigned.

This campaign includes influenza vaccination and administration of covid-19 booster doses in persons over the age of 12 who have an indication and in children aged between 5 and 11 who are starting or completing the primary vaccination course, or in those with conditions at risk requiring booster doses. The pneumococcal vaccine is also given to those who need it.

One of the most relevant innovations for this campaign is the systematic flu vaccination of minors aged between 6 and 59 months (both included), i.e. up to 4 years and 11 months, as recommended by the World Health Organization. Of the total assignments assigned in this period by Salud Responde, 4,735 correspond to minors.

The average level of service of Salud Responde remained above 98.2%, with a waiting time to answer calls of less than a minute (44 seconds), demonstrating that practically all the calls received were answered by the operators or by the ‘Intelligent Call Response (IVR ) system.

The distribution by provinces of the 264,364 jobs assigned through Salud Responde was as follows: Almería 5.36% of jobs, Cadiz 12.58%; Cordoba 10.13%; Granada 10.24%; odor 6%; Jaen 5.10%; Malaga 25% and Seville 25.59% of the appointments.
