All Formula 1 teams except Mercedes announced on Wednesday that they have not filed a complaint with the FIA about Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff and his wife Susie. They are accused of a conflict of interest.
“We can confirm that we have not filed a complaint with the FIA regarding the allegation of a conflict of interest between a Formula 1 team boss and a FOM staff member,” reports include Red Bull in Ferrari in a statement on X.
McLaren, Haas, Williams, Alpine, Sauber and Alfa Romeo made the same statement almost at the same time. Red Bull also responded on behalf of sister team AlphaTauri.
The FIA began an investigation into Wolff and his wife Susie on Tuesday. The English monthly magazine Business F1 Magazine wrote earlier in the day that the Mercedes team boss passed on sensitive information from secret meetings with other team bosses to his wife. She is the boss of the F1 Academy, a racing series for women.
Susie Wolff is said to have leaked the information to Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali. As a member of the Formula 1 management (FOM), Wolff works closely with Domenicali.
According to the team bosses, Domenicali was quickly informed of the secret information after their mutual meetings. They would see Wolff as the leak. The Austrian is also said to have information from the FOM that other team bosses do not have.

Mercedes surprised by accusations
The accusations came as a surprise to Mercedes. “We have not heard anything from the FIA integrity department on this subject. We find it very remarkable that we are informed of this investigation through a statement in the media,” the German team said on Tuesday.
Mercedes rejected the FIA’s accusations. “They do not do justice to the integrity of our team boss. We would of course look forward to further explanation from the FIA integrity department about this investigation.”
Susie Wolff also gave a response on Tuesday evening. “I am deeply offended, but unfortunately not surprised, by the public accusations. It is disappointing that my integrity is being questioned in such a way.”
