This Thursday, the English newspaper The Athletic publishes an article on one of OL’s best recruits: Emerson. According to our colleagues, the Chelsea club is currently looking for a player to replace injured left-back Ben Chilwell.
According to The Athletic, the Blues were willing to shell out almost €4million to end Emerson’s loan spell and see him back across the Channel. But the club of Jean-Michel Aulas, aware of the potential of his player, refused the offer.
With Emerson’s excellent performances with his current team-mates, and the public’s satisfaction with the player’s attitude, OL know they can ask Chelsea for more to see the double European champion leave.
