Lawyers for Donald Trump Accused of Deceptive Tactics in Wisconsin’s 2020 Election

Lawyers representing former President Donald Trump are facing allegations of utilizing a strategic and deceptive approach in their pursuit to upend the 2020 election results in the battleground state of Wisconsin, according to legal analyst Jeremy Saland.

During an appearance on CNN’s “News Central,” Saland, a renowned criminal defense attorney from New York, discussed the release of text messages that involved former Trump attorneys Kenneth Chesebro and Jim Troupis. These messages, which detailed alleged efforts to challenge the election outcome, revealed the employment of tactics that could only be described as a “fog of deceit.”

Commenting on one specific exchange where Chesebro referred to a “cloud of confusion,” Saland bluntly stated, “it’s more like a fog of deceit.”

The intentional manipulation of confusion reflects a palpable intent to disrupt the election outcome. Saland explained, “Their intention was to sow confusion, seize control, and ultimately overturn the election.”
