Former Liverpool Defender Envy Seeing Manchester United Can Sign Varane

Liverpool

Ability Manchester United bring Raphael Varane make a former defender Liverpool, Jose Enrique, jealous. The Reds are considered pathetic.

MU is quite serious about welcoming the 2021/2022 season. Care team Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made two signings that have his fans cheering.

Two stars landed at Old Trafford. First Raphael Varane from Real Madrid for a fee of around £42 million or Rp. 844 billion, and Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund worth 73 million pounds or Rp 1.45 trillion.

MU’s transfer activity is quite different from that of rivals, Liverpool. The Reds have been so lethargic this summer.

After securing Ibrahima Konate since the end of last season, Liverpool Haven’t brought in any more players yet. In fact they lost Georginio Wijnaldum, who decided to move to Paris Saint Germain.

Jose Enrique, a former Liverpool defender, questioned the transfer activities of his former team that lost to Manchester United. He was concerned.

“I am concerned about Liverpool’s lack of business in the transfer market so far, the problem with the owners is that we have had to sell before buying players in the past. That still seems to be a problem,” Enrique wrote in his Empire of the Kop column.

“The only reason we have players like Alisson and van Dijk is because we sold Philippe Coutinho. Without that, we wouldn’t have players like that and maybe the title they helped us win.”

“I believe signing Konate was great, and it was the right spend. But, sometimes you have to go out and spend a lot of money on big players. Before Alisson and Van Dijk arrived we were contenders for the title and after they signed, we really won it. So, players like this are needed.”

“Why Manchester United can go to Real Madrid and sign one of their best players in Raphael Varane, while we can’t?”
