Tottenham Hotspur sporting director Fabio Patarici, who previously held the same position at Juventus, has explained how close Jude Bellingham is to signing for them.
He said: “Jude Bellingham was on the verge of joining Juventus a few years ago.
“He was in Turin for a few days, the deal was close… then Jude decided to choose the Bundesliga as his next stop, so he joined Borussia Dortmund. “
Belligham joined Borussia Dortmund last year and quickly became one of the best players on the squad.
He has made 11 appearances for Dortmund this season, scoring 2 goals and registering 5 assists in all competitions.
