DJ Ashba has been sentenced to a 30-hour community service for drunk driving. The former guitarist of Guns N ‘Roses must also pay a fine and undergo treatment to deal better with alcohol, reports TMZ.
DJ Ashba was arrested in July 2018 after ignoring a stop sign. A breath test subsequently showed that he was driving under the influence of alcohol.
Ashba joined Guns’ N Roses in 2009, shortly after the release of the album Chinese Democracy. He was the replacement for guitarist Robin Finck, who returned to his band Nine Inch Nails. Ashba left the band again in 2015. He said he wanted to spend more time with his family.
He is currently playing the guitar in the hard rock band Sixx: A.M.
