Our respected longtime international colleague Venelin Mitev has died, BTA reported. The family announced that he had lost the battle with COVID-19.

Venelin gave his most fruitful 30 years to BTA successively as a correspondent for the Agency in Moscow and Paris. He was the editor-in-chief of Parallels magazine in one of his most glamorous years. He then headed the magazine “For Women” in the press group “168 Hours”.

He is the author and translator of many books.
