Foreign Investors Net Sell IDR 255.97 Billion, But GOTO Shares Are Buying Up

JAKARTA, Investor.id – Foreign investors realized net sales (net sell) shares valued at IDR 255.97 billion, even though the composite stock price index (IHSG) of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Thursday (2/2/2022), closed up 28.31 points (0.41%) to 6,890.57. Today’s JCI is moving in the range of 6,855.37-6,896.73 with a transaction value of IDR 9.18 trillion.

Net sell the highest hit the following five stocks, namely shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) worth IDR 153.14 billion, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) IDR 100.23 billion, PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) IDR 76.32 billion, PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) IDR 43.93 billion, and PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) IDR 42.04 billion.

On the other hand, these five stocks recorded net purchases (net buy) by foreign investors, namely shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) IDR 217.85 billion, PT Bank Jago Tbk (ARTO) IDR 36.47 billion, PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) IDR 30.89 billion, PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPI) IDR 24.70 billion, and PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) IDR 22.56 billion.

Today’s JCI gain was supported by an increase in the majority of stock sectors, such as shares in the technology sector 4.48%, the health sector 1.84%, the property sector 0.92%, and the consumer sector 0.63%. On the other hand, the weakening only hit the industrial sector 0.44% and the infrastructure sector 0.56%.

In the midst of strengthening the index, a number of stocks printed price spikes, such as these three stocks which rose to auto reject (ARA), namely the shares of PT Indonesia Prima Property Tbk (OMRE) increased Rp. 150 (24.79%) to Rp. 755, PT Visi Telekomunikasi Infrastruktur Tbk (GOLD) increased Rp. 78 (24.68%) to Rp. 394, and PT Millennium Pharmacon International Tbk (SDPC) rose Rp 58 (24.56%) to Rp 294.

The strengthening also hit the shares of PT Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (HDFA) which rose Rp. 35 (22.73%) to Rp. 189 and PT Midi Utama Indonesia Tbk (MIDI) rose Rp. 610 (15.72%) to Rp. 4,490.

On the contrary, a sharp decline hit the following five stocks, namely shares of PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk (SSIA), PT Wijaya Cahaya Timber Tbk (FWCT), PT Wulandari Bangun Laksana Tbk (BSBK), PT Multi Medika Internasional Tbk (MMIX), and PT Borneo Olah Sarana Sukses Tbk (BOSS).
