SAN PEDRO SULA.
After being pointed out by eyewitnesses, agents of the National Police they captured a man suspected of torturing and beheading a boy nine years in the cOlonia Flor de Cuba.
The detainee was identified by police officers as Erick David Cáceres García (19 years old), who allegedly for revenge would have murdered Andy Jesús Bonilla Escobar (9 years old).
According to intelligence team investigations, the man allegedly killed the minor because he had stolen tools from a workshop. He took the boy to some thickets where he was allegedly tortured, beheaded, and left half buried in the boards of the Flower of Cubasector Rivera Hernández.
The Police investigated the fact and some witnesses who saw the crime did not report for fear, it was not until last Monday that they found the body and when making the inquiries made the arrest of the alleged murderer.
Relatives reported that the boy left his house last Friday to visit an aunt, but never returned to his home, so from that day that they lost track of him, they began to look for him around the neighborhood.
A minor believed to have witnessed the crime approached the family to reveal the location of Bonilla Escobar’s body.
Upon arriving at the crime scene, Andy’s relatives found the body that was in an advanced state of decomposition and had been decapitated, so they immediately notified the Police of the area.
The sector Rivera Hernández is considered one of the most violent of San Pedro Sula, where according to police statistics there are at least 20 criminal structures that go through territorial fights for the sale and distribution of drugs and weapons.
