For almost a year now, police have been unsuccessfully looking for a man from Prague who tried to kill a neighbor with a gun and a hammer in June 2018. The wanted 67-year-old Jan Šimák was sentenced to eight years in prison a year ago, but did not serve his sentence.
Since last October, the police have been looking for him. The spokesman of the Prague police, Jan Daněk, asked the public for help in searching for the convicted person, but at the same time warned that the wanted person could be dangerous.
The wanted man measures 170 to 180 centimeters. He has a medium build, brown hair and brown eyes. “If anyone has information about the man they are looking for and knows where he is staying or hiding, let him call 158,” Danek asked.
