Freiburg (dpa) – According to several media reports, Bundesliga soccer club SC Freiburg is interested in Michael Gregoritsch from league competitor FC Augsburg. First of all, the pay-TV broadcaster Sky reported on Sunday morning that the Breisgau residents had been contacted. According to “Kicker” information, the two clubs have not yet agreed on the transfer fee. Gregoritsch, who was Augsburg’s top scorer in the Bundesliga last season, still has a contract with FCA until June 2023.

After Daniel-Kofi Kyereh and Matthias Ginter, the Austrian would be the third external newcomer to the sports club. At the start of training last Monday, coach Christian Streich had hoped to have a larger squad available before leaving for the training camp in Schruns in Austria on Wednesday.
