In his Instagram account, Monday (21/3) evening WIB, Aleix Espargaro said that on the last night in Mandalika he chose to enjoy his time by eating pizza by the pool and called Mandalika like Heaven.
“Last night in heaven, [makan] pizza of [tepi] swimming pool, and leaving for the airport. Ready for a 30-hour trip to Andorra,” wrote Aleix Espargaro in the caption of the photo as he ate pizza by the pool at his lodging in Mandalika.
In addition, the 32-year-old Spaniard also expressed his gratitude and expressed his love for Indonesia.
“Thank you, love u Indonesia,” said Aleix Espargaro.
The Mandalika MotoGP has finished being held at the Mandalika Circuit with a series starting from free practice on March 18. Then, it was continued with qualifying on March 19 and ended with the race on Sunday (20/3).
The Mandalika 2022 MotoGP Race, Sunday (20/3), was delayed for 75 minutes from the original schedule due to heavy rain. The race finally started at 15.15 WIB after the rain stopped.
Miguel Oliveira won the Mandalika MotoGP race, followed by Fabio Quartararo on the second podium and Johann Zarco on the third podium.
Aleix Espargaro himself finished ninth in the Mandalika MotoGP race.
