– All cases can be linked to the ongoing outbreak, but none of them are related to the infected students at Langmyra school, Molde municipality states in a press release.
The new covid-19 cases that the municipality was notified of on Monday night are all close contacts of people who had already been confirmed positive.
– These people were therefore already quarantined. They have not had contact with others and there is therefore no reason to put any new people in quarantine, says assistant municipal director Britt Rakvåg Roald.
– This shows how effective it is to put close contacts in quarantine in the work of gaining control of the outbreak, Rakvåg Roald emphasizes.
A total of 181 people have been tested at the test station at Nøisomhed on Monday and the result was five new corona infections. Molde municipality now has a total of 32 positive cases this autumn.
Hair salon will reopen
The Agaton Sax hair salon in Molde may reopen on Thursday after employees and customers tested negative for coronary heart disease.
