The fourth day of the Spanish Blind Soccer League left a rain of goals in the three games played. Alicante overwhelmed Tarragona (8-4) in an exhibition by Sergio Alamar, author of five goals. Madrid easily thrashed Sevilla, who in their second game of the weekend beat Chamartín 0-3 and added the first win of the season.

ALICANTE TIMPERS 8-4 TARRAGONA

Alicante returns to regain leadership of the League with a scoring of goals against Tarragona, who stood up until shortly before the break, when he was left with one less footballer for the expulsion of Youssef el Haddaoui. The game started somewhat wild, with too much back and forth in the areas and unruly. Three minutes later, Iván López, after driving from his field, beat the Catalan goalkeeper. Shortly after, Sergio Alamar took advantage of a mistake by the visiting defender to score the 2-0. Tarragona reacted and equaled the clash, with a goal by José López and another by Youssef when transforming a penalty. But on the other bank came the reply through Alamar, who scored 3-2 on a corner kick. The yellow double to Youssef marked the future of the match and Iván López made it 4-2 before the break. Around the dressing room, Alamar exhibited his talent with three goals in a row, one of them with a spectacular ‘lambretta’ (7-3), a regular resource for the Valencian. In the final stretch, José López scored from a foul and Pedro Moreno, from a penalty, achieved the first goal of his career, something that the Tarragona player Asier Moreno also did to close the match (8-4).

The Santa Gadea Madrid team

SANTA GADEA MADRID 6-0 SEVILLA

With a great collective game where all the footballers contributed their grain of sand, Santa Gadea Madrid beat Sevilla with solvency (6-0) in a game that dominated from start to finish. Midway through the first half, Miki Sánchez opened the scoring after a personal move, entered the area and crossed the ball to the goalkeeper’s long post. The 2-0 came in a counterattack led by Vicente Aguilar ‘Chapi’ and executed by Víctor Acebedo. Before the break, Adolfo Acosta sentenced the clash with 3-0. The coach of Madrid moved the bench giving minutes to all his players and the script did not change in the second half. As soon as it started, ‘Chapi’ made it 4-0 after receiving a long pass from Acosta. The 5-0 was scored by José Rodríguez, after taking the ball from midfield and shooting the goalkeeper with his left foot. And Adolfo Acosta closed the scoring with a free kick. In Madrid only Nacho Sánchez remained to score, who could have done it at the end of the match, but missed a penalty. On the Seville side, only Julio Sánchez and Roberto Echevarría enjoyed a couple of occasions.

PHYSIOTHERAPY CHAMARTÍN 0-3 SEVILLA

Seville ended the drought to add the first victory of the season. The team from Seville was nourished by several claws from the skillful Julio Sánchez to beat Chamartín 0-3 in a duel more even than the marker reflects. The locals had more possession in the first minutes and enjoyed chances through Manuel Jesús, Lluís Oltra and Antonio Pereña, but the Andalusian goalkeeper was impassable. Seville, with a more direct game, made the first blow as soon as the second half started. Julio Sánchez dodged the rivals that came his way and shot Jorge Hidalgo to score 0-1. Minutes later, Sánchez made it 0-2 in a controversial move in which there could have been a foul on the goalkeeper. With Chamartín overturned looking to close the gap, the Sevillian striker completed his hattrick after an individual move.

Chamartín: Jorge Hidalgo (PT), Lluís Oltra, Néstor Rodríguez, Manuel Jesús Conde, Javier Martínez ‘Portu’, Antonio Pereña and Alberto Sacristán (PT). Coach: Ángel Roldán. Seville: José Enrique Gijón (PT), José Manuel Abreu, Pedro Soriano, José Pozo, Roberto Echevarría, Julio Sánchez and Dani Barrenechea (PT). Coach: Jorge Prieto.
