Actress Javicia Leslie from The Family Business series now plays Batwoman.
Earlier this year, it became clear that actress Ruby Rose would no longer be playing the role of Kate Kane / Batwoman and after that, actress Javicia Leslie was pushed forward as her replacement. Below you can see a first photo of the actress as the new Batwoman!
You may know Leslie from the series The Family Business and she goes into the superhero series Batwoman from the channel The CW playing the role of alter ego Ryan Wilder. The photo was shared by Leslie herself on Instagram.

“Watch out, Gotham, I’ve got my suit on and I’m ready to go … and wait for Ryan Wilder to put her own spin on the Batsuit. @ Cwbatwoman,” wrote the actress with the photo below.
The recordings for the second season are currently taking place. Recurring roles on the DC series include Rachel Skarsten (Alice), Meagan Tandy (Sophie Moore), Nicole Kang (Mary Hamilton), Camrus Johnson (Luke Fox) and Dougray Scott (Jacob Kane). Gabriel Mann will play the villain Hush.
