On the evening of the 28th, a fire broke out in a two-story warehouse in Itabashi-ku, Tokyo, and was nearly extinguished after about an hour and a half.
No one escaped or was injured.
At around 5.15pm on the 28th, neighbors reported to firefighters that a fire was breaking out from a two-story warehouse in Shimura, Itabashi neighborhood.
According to Tokyo firefighters, 17 fire trucks rushed to extinguish the fire and the fire was nearly extinguished after about an hour and a half.The walls of the house next door were also burned.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, no one escaped or was injured in the fire.
The site is a residential area approximately 500 meters west of Shimurasakaue Station on the Toei Mita Line.
The police are investigating the cause of the fire.
