When the fire occurred, the market was closed and there was no activity. A number of traders whose stalls caught fire went to the location of the fire.

1 Block of Kiosk Burned Down

Agus previously said that a block of the market burned down in the fire. The kiosk sells food.

“From the start of the fire at the block B kiosk, it was basic necessities. If there were maybe dozens of kiosks, one block B was already gone. Yes, fruit, vegetables, spices,” said Agus when contacted by journalists.

According to him, now the fire has started to subside compared to before. The fire was initially reported by market guards at around 20.00 WIB.

“The market picket, while on patrol, saw that there was a fire. So I reported it to Babin, reported it to me, I went to the TKP (scene of the crime) and it was already on fire, it turned out that the fire brigade had been contacted and came,” he said.
