LSFG 2.0 Update: High-Quality Frame Generation for Any Game and GPU

It happened today spread LSFG 2.0 – a program that allows you to enable frame generation in any game and on any GPU, has received a major update that improves the quality of frame generation.

LSFG 1.0 was already a very interesting utility because it allowed us to enable frame generation on any GPU and in any game, even in emulators. However, the program had a serious problem – the generation would usually work only when the GPU could provide the number of real frames at a rate of 60 FPS.

LSFG 2.0 had significantly reduced requirements: now generation can work even with the original number of frames of 30-40 FPS and a resolution of 1080-1440p. In addition, in the second version, the developers significantly improved the quality of frame generation, reducing the number of graphic artifacts such as ghosting, distortion of object edges and image blur. However, this caused more load on the GPU, so the developers released another version 1.1 – it is less demanding than 2.0, but it provides better image quality than 1.0.

Portal D.S.O Games already test the work of the new version of the program: the publication was very pleased with the quality and speed of frame generation using LSFG 2.0. The journalist says that at one time he was not very happy with the version 1.0, but 2.0 is a completely different matter. The program worked well in No rest for the wicked even at 30-40 frames. THEN Tekken 8 game and Elden Circle LSFG 2.0 was able to render 120 FPS at native 60 without artifacts, greatly improving the smoothness of these games. And in Horizon: Forbidden West the program did not work worse than DLSS 3.0.

According to GSO Gaming, the developers of LSFG 2.0 managed to create the last and much higher quality analogue of AMD Fluid Motion Frames (AFMF), which every gamer should try.
