Fire flat in Vlissingen not lit, police close investigation

There are no indications that the deadly fire was ignited in a flat in Vlissingen. That is the conclusion of the police after investigation. A 64-year-old resident was killed in the incident on Thursday evening and several people were slightly injured.

Of brand the house was reported around 8.50 pm. During the fire, the flames burst out of the house and a lot of smoke was released. Some 22 homes were then evacuated.
