Fingerprints and DNA Revealed on the Knife Near the Corpse of a Metro TV Editor

“The fingerprints and DNA found were the victim’s fingerprints and also the victim’s own DNA,” said Metro Jaya Police Public Relations Chief Commissioner Senior Commissioner Yusri Yunus at Mako Metro Jaya Police, Tuesday (7/21).

However, Yusri said, police investigators and the forensic team continued to conduct an examination of all available evidence, to quickly uncover this case.

“This is still a temporary result. We are still exploring, by the laboratory team is still continuing to deepen. Hopefully we will convey as soon as possible,” he said.

Yusri said the knife was found under the body of the victim.

According to witness testimony, the victim’s body when he was found in the prone position with a knife underneath, but the knife did not stick in the victim’s body.

“At that time the condition of the victim according to the witness’ statement at the beginning was facedown, underneath there was a knife at the time,” Yusri said.

Editor of Metro TV Yodi Prabowo was found dead on the edge of the JORR toll road in Ulujami, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, on Friday (10/7) after being declared missing by his family since Tuesday (7/7).
