FilGoal | News | Wakeel Athar Al-Taher: We received verbal negotiations from Al-Ahly and Zamalek … and the player wants to play in Egypt

Ahmed Othman, the agent of the player, Athar Al-Taher, the right back of the Sudanese Al-Hilal team, revealed that a number of Egyptian clubs entered into negotiations with him in order to obtain his services.

Othman said on Al-Nahar channel: “Al-Ahly and Zamalek entered into verbal negotiations to include the player through players’ players, and the offers did not rise to the official prong. “

He pointed out: “The player’s contract expires at the end of the season and he is entitled to sign for any club for free without returning to the Sudanese Crescent.”

He continued, “The player’s next destination is Egypt, despite receiving offers from Morocco and Tunisia.”

Athar al-Taher revealed earlier that he had received several offers from the Egyptian League clubs.

Athar Al-Tahir, the full back, scored two goals in the CAF Champions League this season, including one in Al-Ahly’s net in the meeting that ended with the latter’s victory 2-1.

The 23-year-old Sudanese international back has participated in 18 league games this season, scoring 7 goals and 6 goals.
