Alexandria striker Khaled Kamar announced that he will end his football career with the shirt of his current team.
“My contract with Al-Ittihad ends at the end of the current season, but I renewed it for two additional seasons. Al-Ittihad this season is no less than Al-Ahly and Zamalek,” Qamar said on Al-Nahar.
“It will be difficult to move to another team with a strong relationship with the management of the club and the fans of the federation, so I decided to retire from his ranks, because I am happy and things are stable inside the club.”
He pointed out, “Zamalek loaned me 3 times, I do not want to repeat the experience, it was possible to continue in Zamalek until retirement, and club officials held on to me, but I left it 3 times because I felt that I would not participate in the matches regularly.”
“I will never regret playing Zamalek,” he stressed.
“I signed for Al-Ahly, and I received money, but the Minister of Interior then interfered in the matter, and it was decided that I would move with Marouf Youssef, Ahmed Dowidar and Reza Al-Azab to Zamalek,” Khaled Qamar said.
“I also saw that my opportunity was better and easier in Zamalek to retain my place in the team, as Al-Ahly included Amr Gamal and Emad Mitib and other players in the offensive line,” he said.
He concluded his statements, “Also, the Al-Ahly negotiations were not serious. I signed and received a check with money, then no one spoke to me for a month, while Zamalek came 4 times to negotiate with the police union officials.”
