Majed Sami, Chairman of Wadi Degla Clubs Company, denounced Al-Ahly’s request to resume sports activity despite the presence of Corona virus, and asked Al-Ahly fans what if the accursed disease struck your president?
The Egyptian government gave the green light for a gradual resumption of sporting activity, starting in mid-June, by agreement between the Football Association and the Ministry of Sports.
Majed Sami has called on more than one occasion to cancel the competition because of the Corona virus and stressed that the Ministry of Sports and the Football Association must bear criminal responsibility if something happened to anyone in the system.
Majed Sami said on his personal account on Facebook: “Mahmoud Al-Khatib is one of the Egyptian football legends, and he made the happiness of the seventies and the seventies, which everyone unanimously loves.”
“He continues his work after the first team returned to discipline and all mixed up unintentionally by touching the doors, balls and office that might have been polluted by the dreaded disease,” added Wadi Degla Clubs Chairman.
Sami added, “During the meeting of the president with one of the members of the agency, the dreaded disease (God forbid) is transmitted to the body that was exhausted by past injuries and the disease managed from the president.”
“What will the Al-Ahly club react to when this happens?” Majed Sami asked.
Sami revealed, “Two important notes before I commented, please read them. I am the only club president who went to visit Al-Khatib in Germany three years ago after having meticulous surgery in the back and he confirmed this to me recently.”
“The coach of the 2005 team, who was injured a few days ago in Corona, has not been provided with the required medicines by the hospital he was deposited with so far, but our club did this while he was at his house before the ambulance arrived,” he said.
