Khaled Al-Atawi, coach of the Saudi Al-Ittifaq team, explained that Al-Ahly loan striker Moroccan Walid Azzaro will not continue with the team next season.
Azzaro moved to the Saudi agreement last January, but football stopped altogether in March due to the spread of the Coruna virus.
Al-Ettifaq coach stressed that all foreign players continue with Al-Ettifaq, except for Walid Azzaro.
“We believe that the continuation of the current players is the stability of the team, but Azzaro will continue in the event of completing the league until the end of his loan,” Al-Atawi told Saudi economic newspaper.
Azzaro left from Al-Ahly to loan on loan until the end of the season, without the eligibility to purchase.
Azzaro scored 3 goals and once made 7 appearances with Al-Ittifaq.
Al-Atawi indicated that the technical staff of the agreement granted the players leave to the end of this month, due to the suspension of the league.
“We know that the individual and home exercises are not the same as the group exercises, but at the very least they will have good physical fitness if the competitions return.”
“We are followers and monitor them on a daily basis,” Al-Ettifaq coach concluded.
