Amir Tawfiq, director of Contracting and Marketing at Al-Ahly, revealed the truth of Ahmed Fathi’s talk with the club in order to stay in Al-Ahly, and his retreat from joining Pyramids.
Amir Tawfiq said: “What is said is not true at all.”
“Ahmed Fathi has never spoken to Al-Ahly about this. He is a professional player and is committed to completing his mission with Al-Ahly to the end of the season,” he added in his comments to FilGoal.com.
He continued, “Al-Ahly respects Fathi’s desire and appreciates his history and career with the team, and he is clear in the sophistication of the treatment between the two parties.”
Pyramids announced that it will sign Ahmed Fathi Al-Ahly and the Egyptian national team, starting next season.
Al-Ahly’s Contracting Director went on to talk about what was written in the Belgian newspapers about his club’s desire to include midfielder Adrian Treble from Anderlecht.
Amir Tawfiq admired, “Is it reasonable for Al-Ahly to enter into negotiations with a player who is at the center of at least 4 players more efficient and younger than him?”
“There is absolutely no truth to what is said,” he stressed.
What about Walid Azzaro’s position, as well as Gascon Molika, a Mazembe player? Amir Tawfiq replied: “I communicate permanently with Azaru and now his relationship with the Saudi agreement has ended.”
He added, “There is complete coordination on the nature of the next stage. Azzaro is an important and welcome player at any time, and his contract is continuing with Al-Ahly.”
“As for Molika, he is out of Al-Ahly’s accounts during the summer transfer period.”
