A few weeks ago, Koos and JJ talked about PES 2021, but now it’s the turn of the greatest sports title in the world: FIFA. What does FIFA 21 do differently from the new PES?
Unlike the real game, you can still enjoy full stadiums in FIFA 21. But does that also mean that FIFA 21 really feels vibrant and fresh? Has the gameplay become more realistic? Have new modes been added? And something has changed in the existing fashions. Like FUT, the Career mode and Seasons? PES had the same problem. And solved that by making an update this year that cost 30 euros. Because they wanted to fully focus on the next gen version. EA does not. Their footie costs just 60 euros. Does that also mean that they deliver significantly more than new shirts and players?
Is there enough change?
Every year, fans wait for what will be added to the latest game in the FIFA franchise. That is no different this year. As in previous years, the main focus is again on Ultimate Team, EA’s cash cow. Does that mean that the other modes receive little to no refresh? The career mode in particular, for example, really needs a major overhaul. Fans have been begging for that for years. JJ and Koos have both played the game a lot and formed a strong opinion about the game. Especially JJ is going crazy. For him, FIFA is religion as he touches the game every day.
