Since the resumption of the links between Corsica and the continent, customers of Corsica Ferries that have booked tickets from Nice have had a bad surprise.
“At the beginning of the month, I took a ticket Nice-Bastia for this June 12. And three days before the departure date, I get an email that asks me to change my ticket to a departure from Toulon, without further explanation, ” details Harmony Odoir.
The young woman wanted to visit her beautiful family at Furiani, but the face of the high cost due to unforeseen related to the change of departure city, and it was abandoned.
No refund
I can’t afford to pay€ 100 more for a return trip to Toulon unexpected. The company would have at least been able to put in place a shuttle, where they warn us at the last moment and we say “get on with it”.

In the same case, several clients of the company have had to cancel their stay and have requested a refund of their ticket, without success to those who had not subscribed to a cancellation insurance.
“The customer service is very very very difficult to join. After multiple text messages and calls, Corsica Ferries has only agreed to suspend my tickets until 2021, but if I choose later are more expensive, the extra cost will be at my own expense, ” says Harmony Odoir.
Reorganization of the crossings
Currently, the ship Corsica Ferries make daily crossings between Toulon and Bastia and between Toulon and Ajaccio, three times per week.
The city of Nice has just announced the resumption of maritime connections between Nice and Corsica from the 1st of July. But this Thursday, June 11, it was possible to book a crossing from Nice from the 20th of June. The affected customers will have to also finally leave Toulon, at their own expense.

Cabins mandatory
