Activists took to the streets of Ciudad Juárez, in northern Mexico, to demand justice after the murder of his companion Isabel Cabanillas, the fifth woman murdered in that city so far from the first month of 2020. According to the Chihuahua Prosecutor’s Office, Cabanillas, 26, was shot dead. Silvia Nájera, from the Special Prosecutor’s Office for Women, says that there is not yet a solid line of research: “It is investigating the environments of this woman, both social, labor and sentimental to establish some lines of investigation”.
