An apartment on the seventh floor of a nine-story building caught fire. One of the rooms in the apartment was completely burnt out.
An apartment in a multi-storey building burned at night in Kiev. The body of a man was found near the building, who had fallen out of the house, where a fire broke out. About it informs press service of the State Emergency Service.
“On January 9 at 03:59 am, the Rescue Service 101 received a message about a fire at the address: Bratislavskaya str. 36/2 in the Desnyanskiy district of the capital … An apartment was on fire on the 7th floor of a 9-storey residential building,” the message says.
Residents of the house began to self-evacuate even before the arrival of the rescuers.
Fire on an area of 15 sq. meters was localized at 04:38, and eliminated at 05:11.
“During the liquidation of the fire on the street near the house, the body of a man with no signs of life was found. It was preliminary established that the man fell out of the house where the fire occurred,” the State Emergency Service noted.
It is noted that one of the rooms in the apartment was completely burnt out.
13 rescuers fought the fire, three units of special equipment were involved.
The causes and circumstances of the fire are established by law enforcement officers.
