Ingolstadt – Dietmar Beiersdorfer is the new Managing Director Sport and Communication at the second division soccer club FC Ingolstadt.
The former sports director of Hamburger SV should, among other things, provide important new impulses in the current sporting situation, as the Upper Bavarian club announced. The Ingolstadt team are in last place in the table with just five points. New coach André Schubert has not yet brought the hoped-for points in the relegation battle.
“We are in a very challenging situation, which we want to turn positively with solidarity on and off the field,” said Beiersdorfer according to the announcement. To achieve this, all efforts, motivation and courage need to be bundled – “we are looking ahead”.
