Fatal Collision in Maišiagala: Driver of Audi A4 Causes Tragic Accident Resulting in Multiple Deaths

During the pre-trial investigation, the law enforcement officers managed to find out that the driver of the Audi A4 car, who was born in 1998, caused a collision with the Mercedes-Benz truck, which was driven by a man born in 1988. All the people sitting in the “Audi” car died at the scene of the accident – the driver, a passenger born in 1980, a young man born in 2005, a boy born in 2015 and a girl born in 2018.

It has been established that the “Audi” vehicle belonged to a woman born in 1980, who has been traveling by car since 2016. The police report that they managed to find out that the driver of the “Audi” was driving without a driver’s license, moreover, he had already been noticed by the law enforcement officers for identical violations before.

The law enforcers also managed to find out that the driver of the “Audi” drove into the opposite lane. True, the details of the incident are still being unravelled.

It has already been reported that on Monday, April 17, at At 7:16 a.m., the rescue center received a call about a serious accident in the town of Maišiagala – a light vehicle collided head-on with a truck.

The accident took place on a straight stretch of road where visibility is not obstructed. “It is a great tragedy for this family. They will need a lot of help. One family – four coffins,” said a family friend.

The six-year-old girl was pulled out of the wrecked car and handed over to the medics, but unfortunately the doctors were unable to save the child’s life. The other people who were in the passenger car had died.

The light vehicle allegedly collided with the truck, as a result of which the truck overturned. A man born in 1988 was sitting at the wheel of the heavy car, who claimed that the light car suddenly entered the opposite lane and hit his vehicle.
