Fascinating images from European Sentinel-2 satellite show Earth ‘bleeding’ with scarlet lava in Iceland

The European Sentinel-2 satellite, which monitors the situation on Earth from space, presented images showing how the planet is “bleeding”.

The images show an incendiary fault located in Iceland, a phenomenon accompanied by the release of lava. In the image, the lava looks like scarlet blood.

In February 2021, a huge fissure formed here. This happened before the activation of the planet’s volcanic system. The fissure is three kilometers long. In recent years, two strong eruptions of the Fagradalsfjädl volcano have been recorded on Reykjanes territory. A minor activity was recorded more than once.
According to some reports, the fissure, which appeared on the satellite photo, is only 40 kilometers from Iceland.
