One of the detainees, a 17-year-old boy from Udenhout, drove into a number of military police with his tractor. They stood on a roadway outside the airport area to regulate traffic. A military police could not jump out in time, damaging his holster.
A 22-year-old man from Berkel Enschot was arrested Monday afternoon on suspicion of a threat and dangerous driving behavior. He refused to allow a military police service vehicle on a road near the airport to allow for insertion, forcing the military police to divert to the shoulder of the road.
After consultation with the Public Prosecution Service, it was decided to arrest both suspects. That happened in their hometown. Both men are detained for further investigation.
