Family Injured After Debris Falls From Scaffolding on Upper West Side – NBC New York

Debris falling from scaffolding around a block on the Upper West Side on Monday left several people injured.

At least two people were transported to a nearby hospital after debris fell near West 78th Street and Amsterdam AvenueFDNY officials said.

Witnesses to the incident said a family was walking under the scaffolding structure when debris fell, including a woman carrying a baby.

The condition of the two people transported for treatment was not immediately known.

The case remains under investigation.
