Family Crime: Brother Beats and Kills Sister Leading to Investigation and Imprisonment

A forty-year-old housewife whose heart could not bear the beatings of her brother. The woman fell into a deplorable state of exhaustion, so those with the same blood in their veins rushed to transfer her to Atfih Central Hospital, hoping to save her, but to no avail. Her soul has ascended to her innocence, and the policemen are holding the brother until security arrives.

Inside his office in the sector, Brigadier General Muhammad Mukhtar sits examining papers under investigation, blowing smoke from his cigarette, and his focus is entirely on the case, but the sound of his phone bell interrupted his work.

A report has just been received from a police station attached to Atfih Hospital of the arrival of “Amira M.”, 40 years old, with separate body injuries and clear signs of assault in the head area, and her death while being treated.

Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Abu Al-Qasim, Inspector of the Al-Sharq Division, moved to Al-Balagh. Immediately upon his arrival, his eyes fell on a person who was overwhelmed with tears shouting, “My love, my sister.” However, something happened to the officer’s heart that he was in the process of a skit starring the brother.

A careful discussion during which the criminal investigation officer used his skill to find out the truth of the incident, through which he concluded that he was facing a new family crime triggered by family disputes.

In front of the head of investigations in Atfih, the brother tried to evade his action, “He is someone who kills his sister!” But by developing his discussion and confronting him with what the neighbors said, “We heard her screaming, saying, ‘It is forbidden for you, I have the heart.'” He stopped the series of procrastination and prevarication and admitted his crime.

A verbal argument broke out between the accused and his sister, which developed into a quarrel, during which the brother assaulted his sister by beating, then slashed her in the head, so she lost her strength and fell unconscious.

He guided the accused away from the stick, a report of the incident was issued, and the body was transferred to the morgue at the disposal of the Public Prosecution, which initiated the investigation and ordered the accused to be imprisoned pending investigations.
