Mr. A said, “On the 11th when the first confirmed in this nursing hospital came out, my mother received a sample test and was negative, but two days later, she was confirmed confirmed by the second test.” “It’s frustrating because it’s all over the phone,” he said.
He continued, “I heard that more than 10 confirmed people died in this nursing hospital,” and “It is desperate to move the mother to a dedicated bed, but the quarantine authorities have not even contacted what they are doing.”
In fact, 14 patients died so far in this nursing hospital.
Among these deaths, 13 confirmed cases died while waiting to be transferred to a dedicated hospital bed, and the remaining one, a woman in her 80s, died after being transferred to Seongnam Hospital of Gyeonggi Medical Center.
All 10 deaths were confirmed elderly people in their 70s to 90s except one male in their 60s.
In this nursing hospital, 114 people, including 88 inmates and 26 staff and caregivers, are being quarantined in a cohort, excluding confirmed patients who have already been transferred to other hospitals, and 79 of them are waiting for a dedicated bed assignment.

However, the family members of the confirmed patients are mourning because they are rarely assigned a dedicated bed.
In particular, there is an atmosphere of great concern whether the residents and the confirmed patients are properly separated within the nursing hospital.
One netizen, who identified as the daughter-in-law of a resident of this nursing hospital, said on an internet cafe bulletin board, “I found out that the confirmed and non-confirmed patients in the hospital are being treated in the same room with only a partition.” I heard that it was waiting because there was no room to do it.”
Another netizen explained that his grandmother had been tested positive in this nursing hospital for the third time, and said, “I am very frustrated and curious about how (the quarantine authorities) separate and treat positive patients now.” He expressed doubts about whether he was infected by contacting him.
Bucheon City is appealing to the quarantine authorities so that the confirmed patients in this nursing hospital can be assigned a dedicated bed as soon as possible, and is proceeding with plans to move patients and staff who have received a negative test to a life treatment center.
An official from Bucheon City said, “It is important to move severely ill patients to a dedicated bed, but it is also important to prevent infection of patients and staff who have received a negative test. We are transporting negative testers as soon as places such as life treatment centers become available.”
The Hyoplus Nursing Hospital, located on the 8th floor of an 11-story commercial building (60 stores occupied), has 144 beds in 21 hospital rooms with a scale of about 1,800m2.
This nursing hospital was quarantined in a cohort after 6 nursing care workers were first confirmed on the 11th, followed by a bunch of 61 patients, including patients.
However, after the death of a male in their 70s who was waiting for the first hospital bed on the 13th, the situation is worsening as confirmed patients who were waiting for all of the hospital beds died.
