GenPI.co – Former Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) Fahri Hamzah assessed that the institutions under the coordination of the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD do not understand how to work in a democratic country.
“It is clear that these institutions need a new direction that makes them appear more spirited of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution,” Fahri said.

It was launched after the events of October 8, 2020 after the events of presenting opinions related to the Copyright Act on his Twitter.
According to Fahri, Mahfud MD’s biggest task now is to restore the constitution as the spirit of the work of state institutions, especially institutions that are under the coordination of the Coordinating Ministry for Politics, Law and Security.
Fahri also requested the release of the arrest of the community by the authorities who thought they were spreading false news.
