KOMPAS.com- A boarding school santri Gontor 2, Ponorogo, East Java tested positive for Covid-19.
Now, the Ponorogo Regency government is closing access in and out of the boarding school.
Ponpes residents are not allowed to go out. They are also not allowed to receive guests.

Santri did not bring a certificate of examination
However, when they returned to the hut, the santri did not bring a Covid-19 examination certificate from their area of origin.
At the pondok, the santri were active as usual.
It was later discovered that the santri’s father was positive in Covid-19.
The finding was discovered by the East Java Health Office fifteen days after the santri returned to the pondok.

The health office then follows up by examining the 17-year-old santri.
As a result, the santri was tested positive for Covid-19 from the results of the PCR examination.
He was treated and isolated at the hospital.

Cottage access closed
Those who make contact will also undergo Covid-19 examination.
Following the incident, the Ponorogo Regency government closed access in and out of Pondok Gontor.
“For the time being, the pesantren who are inside are not allowed to leave the hut. Likewise, visitors are not allowed or to visit for any purpose,” the Regent of Ponorogo, Ipong Muchlissoni, told Kompas.com, Monday (6/7/2020) night.
Ipong emphasized that access was only given to fulfill basic needs and health services.
