Facebook’s next hardware launch will be their Ray-Ban smart glasses

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg now confirms that the company’s next hardware launch will be their Ray-Ban smart glasses, reports The Verge.

“If we look ahead, the next product release will be our first smart glasses from Ray-Ban in collaboration with Essilor Luxottica,” said Mark Zuckerberg during a conversation with the shareholders.

“The glasses have their iconic form factor and will let you do some really naughty things.”

Exactly what this means, however, Mark Zuckerberg did not go into further.

It is still unclear when the smart glasses will be released. Previous data pointed to 2021, but the corona pandemic may have changed this.
