In an interview published in Corriere della Sera, Cannavaro insisted that Inter being defensive is unfair and lamented the lack of attractiveness of Serie A.
Inter too defensive?
“At the end of the day, it’s the results that matter and the coach must be held accountable. There are different philosophies, those who try to win with more attacking football and some who prefer a more cautious approach. But really, what are we talking about? Serie A lacks attraction. Can this decline be remedied?
“Unfortunately, we no longer have the power to recruit the best (young) players, they prefer to go to the Premier League, La Liga or PSG.
