As UNIAN was informed in the Shevchenko Department of the National Police of the city of Kiev, law enforcement officers are checking information about the mining of Maidan Nezalezhnosti.
The police noted that at approximately 18:20 on the special line “102” there was a call from an anonymous person. However, he did not specify what he means: the square or the metro station.
As of 20:00, the Maidan Nezalezhnosti metro station was opened for entry and exit.
Later it became known that no explosives were found at the metro station or in the square.
