An air alert has been declared practically throughout Ukraine.
On the evening of May 4, powerful explosions were heard in the Dnieper and the region, in Cherkassy and Zaporozhye.
Explosions are reported by eyewitnesses and local Telegram channels.
Dnipro Mayor Boris Filatov noted that the occupiers fired directly at the center of the city.

It is also reported that two explosions thundered in Cherkassy. According to the head of the Cherkassy OVA, Igor Taburts, he said that air defense is working in the region: “Don’t panic. Stay in shelters.”
As of 20:15, an air raid alert was announced almost throughout Ukraine.
In addition, there was information about the flight of a rocket over Znamenka, Kirovograd region, towards Kyiv. It is reported that explosions were later heard in the capital. At the moment, it is known that it was air defense.
