According to the Telegram channels “Ivano-Frankivsk 24/7”, at first eyewitnesses reported an explosion of a gas pipeline, but later clarified that something “related to oil” exploded.
The moment of the explosion itself also appeared online.
Press secretary of the State Emergency Service Svetlana Vodolaga, in a commentary to RBC-Ukraine, said that rescue teams had left for the scene of the incident.
Speaker of the State Emergency Service of the Carpathian region Kristina Pertsovich told RBC-Ukraine that at the moment there is no information about what is burning and where. More detailed information will be provided upon the arrival of rescuers at the scene.
